From Niagara Falls July 3, 2002 to Bennington, Vermont July 4 to the Cathedral in Bennington, Vermont July 4 to Hogback Mountain (100 mile view), Vermont. Then spent the night at Chesterfield Bed and Breakfast in New Hampshire July 4. To Wilmington, Vermont on July 5. Stopped to see the ocean front in New Hampshire. Traveled to Lewiston, Maine to spent the night on July 5, 2002. On July 6, we traveled to Bar Harbor, Maine. Our cabin was in the mountains of Acadia National Forest on Mount Desert Island. We visited downtown Bar Harbor, Maine on July 7. On the island, visited Thunder Hole, Otter Cliffs, Fabbri and Otter Cove, Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse (as seen on their state quarter), Schooner Head Overlook, Southwest Harbor (for lunch), and Jordan’s Pond (see picture of Jordan in front of it). We hiked at Bubble Rock Mountain Trail, went whale watching, and climbed to the summit of Cadillac Mountain (actually we drove). Lots of pictures below – Enjoy !
